About Tagwell

Tagwell is a small, independent app made by Patrick, its founder. It exists to make home upkeep feel like one calm list instead of a pile of things you meant to do.

What Tagwell is

Tagwell is a home maintenance app. It keeps everything a home needs in one place, organized room by room: filters, gutters, smoke alarms, cleaning, kids' chores and the supplies you keep buying. It reminds you when each job is due, remembers the part numbers and sizes, and lets the people you live with share the list. It works in any web browser today at tagwellhome.com/app. The Android app is in testing, and iOS comes after that.

Who makes it

Tagwell is built by Patrick, the founder. There's no outside investor and no ad business behind it. Questions, ideas and bug reports go straight to the person who builds it: hello@tagwellhome.com.

How Tagwell makes money

Tagwell is free for one home. Tagwell Plus costs $0.99 a month or $9.99 a year and adds more homes, more kids and extras like calendar export. That subscription is the whole business model. Tagwell has no ads, never sells your information, and keeps your homes on your own device unless you choose to sync (see the privacy policy).

How we write our guides

Our guides are written by the Tagwell team and checked against manufacturers' instructions and public safety sources such as the U.S. Fire Administration, the NFPA, the EPA and the Consumer Product Safety Commission. We link the sources we rely on, show the date each guide was last updated, and fix anything that turns out to be wrong as soon as we hear about it. The guides are general advice: for gas, electrical, roofing and anything that feels unsafe, call a licensed professional.
